Former Crime Beat reporter and long-time friend of Omnis Law Group, Rose Quinn, continues Remember Me?  This collaborative project with the Delaware County District Attorney’s Office examines unsolved cases in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. Robert Allen “Robby” Payne, was fatally shot just over five years ago. He was found dead in the driver’s seat of his car, with the engine still running, near the corner of Third and Kerlin streets in the City of Chester. Remember Me? tells Robby’s Story.

Robby Payne, a 31-year-old Chester resident, a soon-to-be dad, and a beloved English teacher at Chester High School was found dead – shot 23 times – in the driver’s seat of his car on July 4, 2016. Payne suffered 23 entry wounds – one each to his lip, abdomen, arm and shoulder; two each to his neck, back, chest, side; and 11 to his hip and thigh, according to the Delaware County Medical Examiner. Payne’s death remains an open investigation, authorities have no suspects nor an established motive.
